Every big call in your org still lands on your desk. Some of it comes to you because nobody else knows what they’re allowed to decide. Some of it comes to you because handing it over feels like losing the one thing you still control. This workshop gives you a repeatable process for deciding, one your team can run without you in the room.
What we’ll do together
- Name the decision you’re carrying. Bring one live or recent decision. Put it on the table as it actually is, not as the tidy version.
- See what’s driving it. Under pressure most decisions are made from fear or from commitment. We look at which one is in the room, and what changes when you can tell the difference.
- Run the decision system. A short, repeatable sequence: what matters, what you know, what you don’t, who decides, when you’ll revisit. First solo, then in pairs.
- Make it your team’s. Work out which decisions leave your desk, and what your team needs so they can decide well without you.
- Leave with one decision made and a one-page process you can run on Monday.
Why this session exists
AI is making teams faster. Faster teams produce more decisions, and most of them still route through one person. When leaders wait for certainty, the team waits with them. This session is about deciding well at the speed the work now moves, and about building a team that can do the same.
