Leadership wants speed: AI, new tools, more output with the same people. Your team wants clarity, a say, and more time. You're in the middle, doing most of the deciding, communicating, and steadying.

What we'll do together

  1. Put down what you're carrying. Map what lands on you from above, what rises from below, and the part you never say at work.
  2. Be heard without being fixed. In pairs: one person speaks, one reflects. No advice.
  3. Read your team differently. Resistance is usually information. Map who's pushing back, who's gone quiet, who's quietly ahead, and what each of them might be protecting.
  4. Practice the honest thing. Draft what you'd actually say to your team: what you know, what you don't, and what won't change. Say it out loud. Notice which sentence sounds like a press release, and find the truer one.
  5. Leave with one conversation you'll have in the next two weeks.

Why this session exists

In registration data from our last eight workshops, 361 people, managers were the only group where trust, resistance, and communication came up for more than half. And what managers asked for most was time with peers, not a framework.

Who this is for

  1. Middle managers and team leads in any function.
  2. Managers leading teams through AI rollouts, restructuring, new systems, fast growth, or shifting priorities.
  3. People leaders holding the team's worries while staying accountable for delivery.

Bring one real situation. What's said in the room stays in the room.
